Noatak Erosion and River Channel redirection

Here are a couple of photos on a potential new channel that may change the course of our erosion issues. It looks like it'll flow below town, during break up I will take photos & monitor it, once my machine thaws out, I will go out there & measure the distance from tree to tree across the channel. If you look at the photo with the town on the right, you can see the 'cliff' I have been measuring erosion at.
