Port Alberni, British Columbia, Canada

We have visited this creek every summer for 10 years, since 2008, including every August, and we have never seen the water this low.

Tom Okey, Phoebe Okey-Dobie, and Theo Okolowicz observed:

We have visited this creek every summer for 10 years, since 2008, including every August, and we have never seen the water this low. It is down to a trickle. We know that fish live in this river, including salmon smolts (we've seen them), but it must be hard for them this year.

Phoebe Okey-Dobie observed:

The water running through was low and there wasn't enough water for the fish to swim in. If a fish tried to swim through ship creek most likely the fish would end up not surviving. and drying up on the shore.
