Fish are fascinating and so many people have deep connections to them. If you have a fish story to tell, this is a place to share it.

Tracking observations of fish, especially non-commercial species, is more important than ever. With so any eyes on the water, we can use your keen observations and interests to learn more.

FISH WATCHERS lets you share your observation, whether or not you know what species of fish you observed. FISH WATCHERS also provides a database that is easily shareable with other institutions.

Partners: Open invitation for partnerships, commerical and sports fishers, First Nations, divers, tourist operators, local nature conservancy groups throughout BC.

Observing Guidance: Qualitative observations, descriptions, and photographs of fish.

Source Data: Observations submitted to the LEO Network, including from other networks and sources.

Outputs: Newsletters and potential publications.

Project Updates: Continual on the LEO Network, and based on funders' schedules.
