Addressing Climate Change in Rural Alaska: Georgetown Tribal Council's Vulnerability Assessment

Description: Actively preparing for changes in our environment is imperative for Alaskan communities. To address climate change concerns, Georgetown Tribal Council completed a Climate Change Vulnerability Assessment in 2017. This presentation will provide an overview of the development and results of Georgetown's Climate Change Vulnerability Assessment. Further discussion will include risk identification and assessment, challenges and successes observed during the development process, and incorporating results into current and future plans.
