Rabies in Alaska

Presenter: Russell Cameron, Environmental Health Field Services, ANTHC

Description:

 Rabies can infect all mammals, and is a particular risk to unvaccinated pets. In his presentation, Russ will share information about the prevalence of rabies in Alaska, and describe how ANTHC and the State of Alaska are supporting rabies vaccination in rural parts of the state. 

Environmental Health Explorer Activity Book

Presenter: Christy McDonald, Environmental Health Field Services, ANTHC

Description:

The “Environmental Health Explorer Activity Book” was recently created as a tool for IGAP coordinators, teachers, and other educators in a community to engage kids in a variety of environmental health topics. Christy will share an overview of the book and describe some of the activities for kids to learn from and enjoy.
