Nunavut’s Arctic Winter Games cross-country ski team has had limited outdoor training in Iqaluit this winter due to unusually dry conditions and a relative lack of snow, leading to “sticky” skis and poor glide. The team supplemented training with indoor equipment and a trip to Quebec to ski and race ahead of the Games in Whitehorse.
