Observation by Victoria Kotongan:
We had a series of three storms starting November 10, 2013. The first storm was the biggest and had the most flooding and erosion. Water and power lines were damaged. There was no sea ice and the flooding and warm front broke up the river ice. The storms caused erosion, power line damage, and continuing damage to our already impaired waterline, which all adversely affect our community.
