Highways reopening in southern Yukon after 'record-breaking territory' snowfall

Highways in southern Yukon are reopening after a "record-breaking territory" snowfall, according to CBC News. Doug Lundquist, a meteorologist with Environment Canada, said he has "never quite seen a storm like this." Parts of the Alaska Highway and Klondike highways are reopening, with the South Klondike being cleared. Whitehorse residents were advised to stay off the roads if possible as a winter storm continued.
