Wind Blew Out the Ice

The bitter cold wind in Elim, Alaska has blown out the ice, preventing local hunters and crabbers from harvesting subsistence seafoods. This has put crabbing on hold for the time being.

Observation: This time of the year local hunters, crabbers, etc., would already have their pots soaking in the ocean. As of today the bitter cold wind blew out the ice. This makes the crabbing on hold again. Preventing crabbers, hunters to harvest subsistence seafoods. Judith Daniels
