Wolves are preying on dogs in Old Crow

A pack of wolves in Old Crow, Yukon, Canada, have been preying on people's dogs, with around 10 dogs killed in the last month. Warning signs have been posted around the community and trappers have set snares for the animals, with three wolves killed last week. However, more wolves are still lurking around the town. The wolves are believed to be hungry as the caribou are all in Alaska and there is little snow around Old Crow, making it harder for them to hunt moose. People are being careful to keep children indoors, particularly as the town sees little daylight at this time of year.
