Poor Sea Ice Changes Hunt

The article reports that the sea ice in Unalakleet, Alaska has disappeared, which is affecting the hunting of bearded seals. Normally, at this time of year, there is ice out in the ocean, but due to warmer weather and east winds, the ice has melted. As a result, people are using boats to hunt instead of relying on the ice.

Observation by Victoria Kotongan:

Almost all of the ice is gone out of the ocean. People normally use the ice for hunting bearded seal and normally around this time of year there is ice way out into the ocean. I think people are using boats to hunt because of the warmer weather and east winds. There's no ice this year.
