Vasaloppet ski race organisers scramble to put extra snow on the course

Organizers of the Vasaloppet ski race in Sweden are scrambling to put extra snow on the course due to warm weather causing puddles of water to collect on the 90-kilometer-long course. Volunteers are working to get the course in good shape before thousands of skiers descend on it, especially for the main race on March 1st. Head of sports at Vasaloppet, Tommy Höglund, advises skiers not to take their best, newest pair of skis this year.
