Snow has meteorologist expressing his disbelief

Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada has experienced two days of record-breaking snowfall, with meteorologist Doug Lundquist expressing disbelief at the amount of snow. As of 10:00 am on November 2, there were 41 centimetres of snow on the ground, causing road closures and the cancellation of Canada Post services. Schools remained open, but some buses were unable to operate due to the heavy snowfall. The Whitehorse airport was also closed due to difficulties in clearing the runways. The snowstorm was caused by a low pressure system from the Gulf of Alaska carrying warm air from as far away as Hawaii.
