Flooding just north of Beaver Creek, Yukon forced the closure of the Alaska Highway between the U.S. border and the Beaver Creek Canada Customs office, leaving travellers temporarily unable to cross. Officials say spring melt may have overwhelmed drainage infrastructure and crews are assessing and repairing the problem.
