Rapid flooding across northeastern Ontario inundated businesses in North Bay and Mindemoya, damaging inventory and forcing partial closures. Owners reported water rising quickly (up to about 0.5 m in a North Bay warehouse and nearly 1 m in a Mindemoya basement) with recovery expected to take weeks to months.
