Unknown fish caught this summer in Togiak Bay.
Observation: This fish was being caught in our bay this summer and have not found out what species it is. Do you know what kind of fish this is? Almost looks like a tomcod but fluorescent green.
Alaska Department of Fish and Game Consult: Jayde Ferguson, Fish Pathologist writes, "This is a Whitespotted greenling (Hexagrammos stelleri). Not a gadid, but a Hexagrammid.
