Castner Glacier Half-Collapsed

Castner Glacier, most known for its beautiful ice cave, has partially collapsed. Other news articles have reported this during the summer of 2022, but I didn't see anything reported on LEO. Hikers should be cautious when hiking the Castner Glacier trail since chunks of ice may fall and the streams and rivers are very fast.

Thanks Nikola for the update on the situation at Castner Glacier. You are correct that we did not have anything in our system on this event. Updates on safety and changes in the condition of important landmarks always appreciate. We did a little searching and found an article from Alaska Public Media. See attached.
