A professional driver counted 18 moose along the road between Varangerbotn and Brannsletta in Nesseby, Finnmark, with one moose nearly colliding with his tanker truck. Local wildlife officials say deep March snowfall is pushing moose down toward the coast and roads where snow is thinner, increasing traffic risk on slippery spring roads.
