Twin Falls Territorial Park in the Northwest Territories closed its five-kilometre trail and several viewing platforms due to worsening riverbank erosion and newly discovered underground caverns. GNWT says the area is being monitored and geotechnical assessments this summer will inform next steps, including a possible Mackenzie Highway realignment.
