Philadelphia perching birds fighting over stripped chicken bone

The perching birds sighted on 11/8/2020 in Philadelphia (House Sparrows) are not known carnivores. This could point to potential climate or food shortage stressors affecting the feeding behaviors of the House Sparrows.

On the same day, one block away, was a House Sparrow lying dead within a distended belly and no signs of harm (i.e. blunt trauma, broken beak from flying into a window, etc.) This could be further evidence of starvation.
