A large vegetation fire on Sukkertoppen in Ålesund, Norway remained unresolved more than a day after it started, with nearly 300 people still evacuated. Unstable wind and difficult terrain hampered firefighting, while police investigated the cause and imposed a temporary access ban around the area.
