Data within LEO may be downloaded and analyzed outside of the system. LEO data are downloadable in GeoJSON format, which is a simple, standard, highly-interoperable format for geospatial data.
Once downloaded, many powerful tools exist for working with the data such as: CartoDB and QGIS.
Downloading GeoJSON data is possible by any member of the LEO Network, but is not possible for unauthenticated users.
The best way to download data is to perform a normal Observation search within the LEO website. For more information on how to do this, please see...
Once you have the search results you want, simply click the Download Data button to get an extract of the search results in GeoJSON format.
