After two foxes tested positive for rabies in Tuktoyaktuk, N.W.T., health officials are advising anyone who has come in contact with a fox to contact the local health centre and report the incident immediately.

A dead humpback whale was found washed ashore on Christmas Day at Barnegat Lighthouse State Park in Long Beach Island. The whale, believed to be as large as 20 feet, may have been hit by a boat or fallen ill before washing up along the Jersey Shore coast in Ocean County.
