The Swedish Environmental Protection Agency is an environmental authority working on behalf of the government. We are responsible for issues related to climate and air, soil, biodiversity, unclean areas, circulation and waste, environmental monitoring and environmental research. The Swedish Environmental Protection Agency will work towards achieving the generation objective for environmental work and the environmental quality objectives that the Riksdag has established.
