The Alutiiq Pride Shellfish Hatchery is the only shellfish hatchery in Alaska and is a division of Chugach Regional Resources Division (CRRC). Its mission is to provide seed stock for the aquatic farm industry, develop seed for new species for aquatic farming, provide seed for shellfish enhancement projects and conduct research. The hatchery utilizes protocols and techniques from around the world to produce shellfish larvae.
