Sawfish, and about 30 other species of fish, are turning up sick and dying in the Lower Keys as questions mount over what's causing it.

Little to no apparent management posed possible ecological and environmental health concerns.

The Florida Keys is experiencing higher than usual fish kills this summer, but wildlife officials don't think it's part of a red tide or other type of algae bloom affecting other parts of South Florida.
