DNA tests confirmed that a genetically important Finnish-Russian wolf was responsible for sheep killings in Gausdal, Innlandet. The wolf has killed or injured around 35 sheep in the region, prompting frustration among local farmers and renewed debate over whether it should be shot.

Tourists at Hafjell in Innlandet woke up to a white landscape after snow fell in July, an unusual event for the area. The brief snowfall disrupted planned cycling trips, but hotel staff said most guests saw it as a special experience.

Ole Martin Mortvedt was following a large ice floe floating on the lake. "Suddenly I heard a lot of crunching in the ice. Then I turned and saw the ice floe had hit land. It had such great speed that it could not stop." Mortvedt says he has never seen anything like it in his 58-year-long life.
