This winter is the snowiest on Donner Summit in the Sierra Nevada mountains since reliable snow measurement began in 1971.

It has been some years since we have had a long storm. March 6 marks the 3rd day and there have been no jets or small planes flying.

There are miles of dead fish washing up on the beach. That's not all. Just breathing the air can be harmful.
